PC Karaoke Software designed for Professional Karaoke Hosts.
When I decided to switch from using CDs for my shows, I downloaded and tested every karaoke player software that I could find on the Internet. I found a lot of software that would play karaoke. Most had ridiculous hardware requirements, poor software performance and none had the features that I wanted for hosting my shows. I wrote my own! We have been using this for all our shows since 2001.
System Features:
Free Updates for registered users
Hardware/Software Lock: Each copy will be hard coded with the serial number of the video adapter. You can upgrade your PC anytime you like. The software will run if the correct video adapter is installed
Player Features:
Uses Direct Memory Access instead of DirectX - Graphics can update at up to 300 times per second, just like they do on CD+G Karaoke players. The graphics scroll smoothly, unlike most PC players I've tested.
Does not us Full Screen Mode to display to TV. - You can keep working with the play list during performances
Plays any audio or video formats supported by Window Media Player 9 - If there is a "CD+G" file of the same name in the music folder, the Karaoke graphics are displayed. If no "CD+G" file is found, the player will display visualizations.
Simple User Interface: Two large buttons. Play/Pause button and Stop button. - Reduces the chance of pressing a wrong button
Now Available!!! 9 Step Key Changer
Automatically set by database interface.
DSP is performed by the sound card... no extra CPU usage.
Uses EAX compatible sound card (Sound Blaster 5.1 Live or better).
Database Interface Features:
Quick Sort: Click the column head to sort by Title, Artist, Genre etc.
Quick Find: Just begin typing. The system will automatically locate the closest match
Auto Load: Loads the next song immediately at the end of the current song. No "Opening Media" delay. Play begins immediately when the play button is pressed.
Auto Play: Continues on to the next song in the play list, and begins play automatically when this option is checked.
Own CD Place Holder: For those that insist on using their own CDs.
Key Change Notification: Prompts to activate/deactivate the key changer (Future release will also include Auto Key Change feature)
Easy Play List Modification: Right-Click, then drag any song into any position in the list
Auto Save: Imagine fifty songs entered into the play list, and you trip a circuit breaker! Believe me, it happens. Restart the system, and you are ready to go!
Music Fill: Allows you to add music (non karaoke) to the play list.
Auto Music Fill: Plays random music selection if there are no singers signed up. I use this option during setup, to test the sound.
